Chinese Bowl No. 2

This little painting is only 2 x 2 inches so the picture here is close to actual size. I bought two little gold frames several years ago and I wanted to do small paintings to go in the frames. I just started this little painting of a Chinese bowl my grandmother had. She bought it in San Francisco when she, my grandfather and my mother went from Oklahoma to California to look for work in the shipyards. I've painted it before and it always seems to glow. I'm going to add more color to the bowl tomorrow. And I decided to leave the apples painting alone for a couple of weeks before adding the final touches! Hard for me to do!

I added a few touches today and I am determined to leave this little painting alone. I'm happy enough with the result to stop!
